Today's appointment...

Todays appointment went great, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of me. When doctor first came in the room he joked about how fast we got pregnant again. We talked about getting a heart rate monitor and he said its a great idea and to make sure when we start feeling the baby moving that we start our kick counting. He said the baby looks great the heart beat was at 140. The baby is measuring 8 weeks 6 days. We also talked about inducing, because our due date is looking like anywhere from May 6th to May 10th as the latest, I told him I didnt want to be so close to Jay's one year birthday and he said as long as cervix looks good and everything is in order he has no problem at all inducing. The biggest thing that made me just so happy was the first thing he said to us was that no matter what the rest of the OB perfessionals would consider us, at his office any loss is considered high risk from then on and that they work very closely with a high risk specialist all the time and that starting at 20 weeks we will be seeing this doctor as well as our regular doctors. Which was awesome news to us. I go back on October 29th for my next appointment. He also told us that anytime we feel we need to come in, just call them when we are on our way to the office and they will be waiting for us. I feel much better about things now knowing that I have my doctors and the nursing staff as well as a specialist on my side and we have a plan. It feels good to actually be able to smile again and have something to look forward to again.
