Well whether or not I want it to come, it is. Jacen's 1st birthday is next Thursday! I cant believe how fast this year has gone. Here just a few pics of whats been planned so far.
The cake is what I want to do minus a layer. It doesnt need to be so big and we are going to see about having a small cake just for him to dig into.
Presents are wrapped. And the book that you see I am excited about, yes I know he wont be able to read it or appreciate it for some time. But I hope to have it completed before his party so that in the future he will be able to have it and share it with his children. Until then it will go in the hope chest with his other baby things.
On the menu is hamburgers and french fries (are his favorite), the whole day (hopefully if weather permits) will be outside enjoying him and the sunshine. We are going to have the canopy set up and decorated. I hope to be able to play some games, not sure what yet but I'm sure we will figure it out.
I hope this will be a day that will be fun for us all. I know he wont remember it but I know we will take a ton of pictures for him to look back on.
