Appointment today....

We have been going to both specialist and regular OB weekly now for about 2 weeks, so we have had 2 appointments a week. Today we got a surprise when we went to our regular OB, he told us he really wants to induce at 37 weeks instead of the 39 weeks Jay and I had said. He said with everything that happened with baby Jay that he feels more comfortable getting Jacen here as soon and safely as possible. At 37-42 weeks you are considered full term and he said the sooner the better. He wants to hand us a healthy, screaming baby and doesnt want to wait any longer than necessary. He asked us to talk with our specialist and get his opinion and to see if he thought we would need to get an amnio done to check for lung maturity. If Jacen's lungs are developed enough to be born at 37 weeks, we are looking at 2 weeks till baby day!!! Instead of the 4 weeks that we thought we still had. We are super excited but of course scared and nervous and anxious and so many other emotions right now but like we always do, we will handle it one day at a time. We will find out Tuesday our specialists word and hopefully have a better guess as to when we will be inducing. Yay for great visit!!
